Has anybody else had any ghosts in the fader machine, on the latest firmware update (SQ5 1.4.3)?
Mid-show switching between layers, my faders 17-21 and main LR jumped to -inf level.
Still passing audio at the correct level; and the MixPad app showed the same, all those faders at -inf but still passing audio.
As soon as I touched a fader I regained control (at the correct level)
Really weirdly – faders 23-27 jumped up to where 17-21 should have been (no audio level showing)…
Just a quirk, but if it had taken the audio with it that could have been a p45!
Hi EJC,
I’m sorry to hear this!
This isn’t behaviour I’ve come across before and, after discussing this with our software team, it sounds like this could be a hardware issue rather than a software bug.
Could you please open a ticket at support.allen-heath.com so that I can look into this further with you?
Thanks!
Alex
