Would like to have a selection in matrix source menu (or other output source selection) to send the PFL bus to que wedge from an XLR output. Basically this would send the PFL solo headphones signal to a active speaker ( right now the only way to have a que wedge for monitors is to use the head phones out, so we lose the headphones option)

    Thanks
    Mike

Use Alt Out, it’s a TRS Jack, so you can use a TRS-XLR cable or adaptor.

If Alt out follows the headphones (I don’t have the desk here to try), then there’s still the problem that the L/R bus will be coming through the wedge without a PFL button pushed, I don’t want that.

I want the wedge to be quiet and only have the PFL solo bus come through when a PFL button is pushed.

    It’s all in the settings.

Alt out can be used for PAFL, and PAFL can be silent when not selected.

Thank you, I see now. Disable L/R out as default, then use PALF at Alt out – got it – Mike

Glad you did I couldn’t remember what any of the labels were – and don’t often have the desk to hand…
