Are we ever likely to get the OPTTRONIK compressor for SQ either as an addition to the Compressor Pack 1 or as a standalone add on?

I know it’s on the dLive!
It’s also recently come for Avantis in the latest firmware.

I’m wondering if it may be coming for SQ – as I’m an SQ owner and this is an SQ forum 😉

Well, A&H are usually listening to their customers, so I wouldn´t rule it out…The more people request a feature, the higher it will be on the to do list, provided it is technically possible. Dlive, Avantis and SQ all feature a fpga xcvi core, but not the same I think. Also, there is no dyn8 engine in the SQ, so it is very unlikely to see a dyn8 add – on…

Opptronik para sq. Sería excelente ver esta adición para sq. Según comentarios suena muy bien. Los dueños de sq tambien queremos esta opción.

I have the LA2a comp with my Waves LV1 and use it mostly on vocals, however SQ’s Opto has very a very similar effect and IMO the subject “new D-Live plug-in” will not bring game changing improvement. In the event you can’t control the dynamic range of your tracks with the SQ’s internal comp or the existing deep 5-pack of comps, it is highly unlikely the new D-Live LA2a look alike will get you where you want to go.
