Anyone knows how to implement DX168s to Director for offline show preparation?
Connect one DX32 and fill all slots with analog? Where are the DX168 outputs?

    Many thanks!

Think I found a answer to that in a post from 2020. Will see on location….

You can use the DX32 with 16 inputs and 16 outputs.

Thanks for that, but what if I daisychain 2 DX168s?

And patching is still possible without the connections. It simply establishes the connections on going online.
The daisy chained DX168 uses the channels 17-32.

    That’s correct, thanks.
But it does not take into account, how to offline prepare outputs for 2 DX168s in daisychain with Director.

The bottom table contains output numbers as well.
    DX 1 is 1-8, DX 2 is 17-24

It’s true that it’s not really elegant.

Sorry, but I still don’t get it totally.
When I connect a DX32 on DX Port 1-2, I have 4 slots that I populate with Analogue Ins each. That is the 32 Inputs of the 2 DX168s. Where is the “bottom table” you are talking about?

Sorry, it’s in my picture from post #110937.

What do you need to do?

You can add it to the patch in all cases, if configured or not.
If you need to set phantom power, gain and pad, configure all 32 sockets as inputs to set the parameters.

The only parameter on the output is the phase switch.
Do you really need to set it in your offline show?

    Thanks for clarification.
No, I don’t have to set any output parameters. I was just curious if it is possible at all.
