So today I tried to do a multitrack recording with Nuendo 6 on OSX with the SQ-5.
After setting up the device configuration in Nuendo nothings happens. Audio doesnt play and also recording is not possible.
But playing from iTunes was working, and the Sound settings showed audio input too.
After trying some settings and troubleshooting I found a solution: I created an aggregated device, with just the SQ-5 in it.
When I chose the aggregated device in Nuendo, it worked like a charm.

    Hope it helps someone.

Was N6 not ASIO only? and AU support started with N7?
but I’m not shure about that… just guessing

On OSX it should work with CoreAudio.

Hey man, how are you finding the SQ5 as the front end for your DAW? Did you get the issue above resolved at all?

So did you resolve this or not? Be great to hear something back etc.

Sorry for the late reply, not always on this forum 🙂
As it says in my post. I solved the issue by creating an aggregated device in osx.

I did not do a lot of DAW lately, but it works as an input output device. I did not try to use the faders yet (as daw remote), but it would be done easily with a midi layer in Nuendo.
