    In our chuch we are some more peolpe doing the mix. We rotate on weekly basis, so that everybody is at the mixer every 5 or 6 weeks. You can imagine that there happens a lot in the time between.
    One of the faults happened more often in the past is not knowing, that someone changed a channel to safe because of various reasons and possibly forgot to change back or forgot to inform the others.
    So I thought about a feature where you can immidiately see, that the selected channel operates on safe mode. An extension would be to have a software button somewhere in the virtuel channel strip or in the channel options to change this one channel from safe to not safe or from not safe to safe.
    Idea would be to have different background for safe channels.

    At the moment there is only the safe page in the scenes menu. That is far away from where you operate normally during live sessions.
    I would appreciate to see this as a new feature in the upcoming software.

    safe means that it is excluded from a recall

    if you are not working with scenes then it does not affect you that channels are safed
    it is still possible to change any parameters on the channel

    @Iomtas

    We have a similar situation.

    We set up scenes. We recall the screen we need. Nobody is allowed to save changes.
    You all could possibly have separate scenes for each user.
    We have a separate scene for each type of event (AM PM midweek).

    You have more of a people problem than an SQ problem.
    Nothing is ever safe with people involved.
    You have to fix that with process and social pressure as too many people are stupid selfish and careless.
