I upgraded the firmware on my GlD80 to the new 1.50 a few days ago. After a successful update, I hooked up the Left out on my AR2412 to a random speaker in the shop and I’m getting a noise that sounds like a microphone sitting in the wind. If I muted LR it would go away. The only way I could get it to stop was to route the signal generator to LR. I tried routing to all the other auxes and listed outputs but routing to LR is the only thing that makes it stop.
-Signal Generator is both muted and level is all the way down.
-AR2412 was connected with short 6ft cat5 that came from Allen & Heath
-Disconnected AR2412 and noise still coming from GLD surface outputs both Left and Right.
-Tried recalling a factory scene
-Downloaded firmware again, deleted from usb stick and reloaded, re-updated firmware onto the surface.
I’ve run out of ideas on how to fix this, I’ve only used the desk at one gig prior to updating the firmware.
