We have an ongoing problem with our T112 surface. It is no longer functional as a Foh console because of this issue.
Despite what we have already tried we can not pass APFL (or anything) through the t112’s surface headphone jack/s. This is also an intermittent problem as sometimes, after reboot, it would work occasionally but eventually fail. Otherwise nothing but normal noise floor.
We can only APFL from our IDR48’s headphone out, so usable for mons at least.
What we’ve tried;
Routing options
Firmware rollback – no change
Firmware update – no change
Checked ribbon cable connections twice over – no change
Changed ribbon cables – no change
Replaced surface headphone PCB with new – no change
some other stuff…
I know we can remedy this buy using an external headphone pre but the last thing we want is more goop with our console packages. It would be nice if someone could suggest something we haven’t.
