No Audio From Playback In – Zed10

I’m not sure if I’m missing something simple here but I’ve just set up a Zed-10 and everything seems to be working fine but I can’t get any sound from the analogue Playback inserts (I’m not using the USB).
The audio from my sound card is working – if I plug it into ST2, that works fine but I get nothing from Playback in.
All the relevant volumes are up (Playback/Main mix/….actually all of them) and I get nothing.
Any ideas?

If you select “playback” on the phone select buttons can you hear it in the headphones?

Are you using both playback input jacks?

With nothing plugged into the playback inputs do you get any USB audio playback on the playback channel.
