    Hello everybody,

    I am looking for a network cable for my SQ5 and my AR2412 stagebox. Which network cable do I need?
    Is CAT5e sufficient or do I need a CAT6 for safe operation? Which cables do you use? Which cable can you recommend?

    Hi Subtower,

    We do have an article on recommended cables to use with our products here: https://support.allen-heath.com/Knowledgebase/Article/View/367/172/recommended-cables

    However, any STP CAT5e (or higher) cable is fine to use for this.

    On installs we use solid CAT 6 Shielded cable we get from RAPCO cable company.

    Is STP required, or will UTP work?

    You definitely want STP.
