I have a friend there. He said “new plugins, talk back groups, A/B/C mic backups. To be released in February. Would love to hear more if anyone finds any more info.

I’m excited about the new Dante cards. Hopefully they are shipping soon!

Sad that there’s no update to the dLive apps to bring them more in line with the SQ apps.

None of the NAMM reports, none of the interviews with A&H representatives (there are a few on youtube) mention this upcoming firmware update. What is?

This picture came from NAMM. Not sure why it hasn’t officially been announced. There is also a picture of an LA-2A compressor as part of 1.8

It has been posted on Facebook by one of the attendees that Solo In Place is coming in 1.8
That’s the biggest feature for me! 🙂

OK, if this list is right, then we are missing a few more features. I hope that there will be one or the other thing added.

But there is also some good news, which is not only relevant for me.

– The improvements for the signal generator and the PAFL bus are important.

– Scene Store Undo I think is great!
It’s happened to me before that I accidentally overwrote a scene when I was tired.

– Latching Width option for the C-Series console!
Wonderful!

– And my wish to be able to call up Peak Hold Reset via a softkey was also heard. I think that’s very good.

This slide says “workflow enhancements”. This indicates that there could be more topics? Or 1.8 is about workflow enhancements only.
But I hate this speculation. Not sure why they are so secretive….

I think there are more topics since many people mentioned other new features, such as SIP or MCA.
