Hi all. My situation is this:

I’m wanting to record my band with the CQ-18 live, but we use multi-channel backing tracks run through the USB-B port. I’m aware from the manual (as far as I can tell, and from my experience so far) that USB inputs cannot be armed to record. Has anyone found a workaround for this? Thanks!

I believe you can still multi track record to the SD card.

Hey, I’m adding to this question. Today I did a talk show for the first time with my new CQ12 (before Presonus 32sc) and i really need to know how to record music from my laptop USB B in multitrack. Recording to my DAW and backup to SD. I dont want master file i need all multitracks (6 lavs and 2 mics for applause) + music in my timeline for tv post… I couldn’t find anywhere how to record USB B or route it to some free input. Thanks

I solved it differently. I noticed that AV IN L and R is in multitrack so I set in INPUTS PAGE ST IN LR input source to USB SD and from PC (WIN) I send sound to CQ 1&2 (ST1). Now multitrack recording works fine 🙂
