Qu24 latest firmware updated 3weeks ago. I had hoped a firmware update would help. But it did not. We want to record multi track to a computer. However every computer and software tried over the last two years ends with the same result. We get at most 5 minutes of recording then lose the signal from the board to the computer. Unplug then reconnect the usb cable will reset but I need to record the full service not just 5 minutes. Any thoughts? I have tried Mac and windows, multiple cables, three different softwares. All with the same effect.

    Hmm, never had that happen…

    * standby, sleep, hibernate settings for the laptop ?
    * buffersize in the DAW ?
    * which pick-off point in the Qu do you use ?

If 18 recorded tracks suffice recording direct to the Qu-drive works great.

That’s all I’ve got so good luck !

Using the USB-B to the computer to record all tracks and I wish 18 was all I wanted. We typically 22 for all on or services. But computer is set to not sleep or hibernate. Tried multiple buffer sizes for the DAWs. Just can’t get a solid signal to last more then a couple of minutes.
