I have the multi band compressor add on bundle. I’m wanting to use the iem glue feature with my iem set up. I have four iem mixes assigned to aux 1-4 respectively. Is there a way to utilise the ‘glue’ plugin independently on any of these mixes eg assigned to 1 and 2 but not to 3 and 4. The insert feature only allows insertion on one aux at a time. Can what I’m asking be done??

Yes, and you thought already right:
You have to load the desired FX into 2 FX-units and then insert them into Aux 1 and 2.

Cheers. I had a feeling that may be the only way to do it but was hoping to get away with using only one slot on the fx rack.

How would that work, two different mixes via one FX?
The only thing I can think of would be to send the two Auxes to a Stereo Matrix – one as L, the other as R – and insert the FX there.
    But then
    1. both in-ears would only be mono and
    2. I don’t know how the compressor treats the two different channels.
I assume that they are not both processed completely separately, but that the different dynamics of the two mixes affect both outputs together.
You’ll just should try it out or ask A&H.

My initial thinking was that effectively that plugin is a pre set(although adjustable). It would be nice to have an option to multi assign to more than one aux at a time. Yes the settings of the plugin would be identical for each aux, but as a preset that would be fine. Just a crazy idea lol.

If you think in terms of ‘busses’, the situation becomes more clear: You can send multiple signals into a bus but you can’t ‘unmix’ them afterwards again. Your FX has only one output signal.
If that is OK for you (eg. to add the same reverb mix to all your AUXes), you can use FX channels for your AUXes.
What you suggest wouuld need a very different architecture.

But i must admit that 8 FX slots are rather limiting when using inserts…..
