    Hi,

I’m in situation when I have to move the channels – not only sockets, but insert channel 17 between 3 and 4 so it is there in default MixPad channel order. I know I can copy channel processing and routing from existing channels and paste them to new channels. In my case that would mean I’d have to copy CH30 to CH31 and so on until my channels 4 and 5 are equal so I can paste the 17 to 4. I guess there is no shorter way? Is there something that will not be pasted? Like gain, polatity, pad, phantom or maybe routing to aux chains? What about scenes, will they work as before or their parameters are absolute to CH numbers?

Does the mixpad layout follow the surface strip assign?

Unfortunately it does not. It would be too simply if it would. I can define custom layers in Mixpad, but in my application it’s more convenient to switch between IP layer and custom-1 rather than scroll left and right.
