It would create a ton of value, if we could have more MIDI fader strips and could freely assign any CC or key we like, much like the soft rotaries (good luck on an SQ-5). And probably send on multiple channels as well (fader1=#5cc16, fader2=#7cc124) .
Use case: Control of External Gear
Create a scene that has multiple layers just for MIDI remote control of synths, effects, maybe even a midi-dmx bridge. Allow complex programming with motor faders, save space and money for a dedicated MIDI controller. Assigning CC or keys directly in the console would save the extra hassle of using an external converter like Bome or DAW Control Driver, ie no computer needed. Having the MIDI channel as an added parameter would be ideal, but is probably harder to code as it will change the data structure and display layout. But replicating 32 faders to 64 or 128 sounds achievable.
