I am helping a church with a QU-32 and I have run into a monitor issue. We have 5 monitors and with the same person using the same microphone testing each one, 3 are perfect and two of the monitors are bass heavy and muffled. Each monitor is set up on a different mix out. I have a basic knowledge of working this board, but I can’t find any way to adjust this or what else could be the issue. This a brand new board and monitors installed with the last couple of months. Any help would be appreciated.

First step would be to switch around the monitors. Hook up the 2 muffled ones to a mix that sounds good with the other 3 monitors.
Since they are new you’ll probably find the monitors are all fine.

Now go and look up how to change the pick-off point for your mixes.

There is lots and lots of info in the manual, on Youtube and on this forum.

    Good luck !

Are your monitors powered as in the amplifier is built into the monitor and the monitor
requires that you plug it into a power outlet or are they passive and require a separate amplifier off the stage somewhere and connected to the monitor with just a speaker cable?
Actually what are the monitor models?

Giga had a good suggestion on swapping a good sound monitor with one that is having issues.

There are two eq’s on every mix output, parametric and graphic and as mentioned the mix send pick off points, lots of places there to completely change the sound of the monitors.

They are all powered monitors. I’ll check for those pick off points. I know how to EQ the individual channels, but I haven’t found how to access the EQ for the monitor mix. I’ll search for it again. Switching the monitors is a great idea and I’ll give that a try. I do not run this sound board on a regular basis, I am just trying to troubleshoot for them.

    Thanks for replying!

Select the mix you want to work with using the blue mix select buttons, then on the master fader hit the green green SEL button then hit the processing button at the top right corner of the screen. That will get you into the EQ menus.
