we’re purchasing a DM64 mixrack and have a question about installing it. we plan to place it on a carpeted floor. the “getting started” guide says:
The MixRack can be operated as a freestanding unit for shelf or floor operation. Check that its plastic feet
are fitted. Ensure adequate air flow around the unit. It must not be covered in any way. Always stand the
unit on a firm flat surface away from any soft furnishings or carpet.
so should we place a sheet of plywood or something similar between the mixrack and the carpeted floor?
thanks for your help.
I think it wold be better to put something harder under the rack
Do you mean something like a sheet of metal?
A piece of thick plywood should do the trick.
plywood is good
