Control of the SQ’s Signal Generator is available from the app when online but it would be impossible to add to the offline mode.
This is because the app is only a remote control for all the routing and processing that happens in the XCVI core in the mixer – there is never any audio in the app.
Without being connected to the core then, there is nothing to generate or route the signal.
On the point of insert setup whilst offline, this is something that didn’t quite make it into the last feature release (we prioritised control when online as it’s arguably more important) – so we do plan to add this in future.
And yes… with every release we do add more and more control to the console/app and work toward all parameters being accessible remotely.
This does take time due to every control needing to be added in both the console firmware and the app and all the development/test cycles they both require.
