mixing with logic via qu 32

is anyone using qu 32 in studio ?
I am using qu 32 to record and to monitor while recording, but for all mixing process with dynamics, reverb etc I stay in logic x (and or protools), I just use 2 channels and lr to monitor out what come out from logic,
I want to use more the mixer itself,
first would like to physically mix on the desk , and record automation on logic, is that possible? can you suggest me a guide to set this on the mixer?
How can i set the custom layer to get the full control of the Logicx channels from the mixer?

confused about output routing from logic
But we indeed need another Logic/Qu/Studio-Thread, since this is not the typical “controlling Logic from the Qu” question.
Since Logic can record and playback MIDI and the Qu sends and receives MIDI for any change you do on the desk you should be technically able to record automation. But I doubt this will work as expected, since Logic has no understanding for the meaning of that data stream and you probably always have to start from the beginning of the song.
