    Hi All,

We are trying to set up a means for our band to mix monitors with a limited number of iPads. We have decided to set up a couple iPads with MixPad installed and created a user with reduced permissions so that they can mix their monitors without the risk of changing anything else. My one question is this: is it possible to give that user permissions to mix the aux mixes but not the mains? We want to avoid a situation where a musician inadvertently mixes the room instead of their ears.

    Thanks.

We do use OneMix for monitors. However, we are not able to provide a sufficient number of iPads for every musician to have their own, so we need the ability to mix multiple monitors on one iPad (we have 9 IEM mixes and 3 iPads). Since OneMix locks itself to a particular mix, we are using MixPad for this purpose. Thus we are looking for a way for the bad to use MixPad without messing with the LR mix.

    Thanks

ok I tried it and it works different than the SQ4You or the QU-you app
on both it is easy to do what you need

but you can build a Custom Control setup to provide one App with more than one mix available…
    but it’s a bit work…
