For music I use a jigsaw entertainment software, is there anyway to make where you speak through a microphone and it automatically turns down the music instead of doing it manually all the time?

In the channel or group that you want to have turned down (“ducked”),

    • open compressor settings
    • Press the lib button
    • load “ducker mode”
    • as side chain select the channel or group with your mic(s)

Using groups instead of single channels gives you more flexibility, so multiple mics can duck your backgound music no matter if it is being played from usb or ST1/2/3 in or …

Any SQ can also use groups as a sidechain for groups (see picture).

Maybe you reduced all Groups to have 12 Auxes?

I regularly have available 6 tunes with custom BU tracks. 2 of those 6 will need an attenuation ducker that I know how to set up, however I need to be able to engage and kill the ducker with a soft button or my two function foot button. Clarity from those of you that deploy this type of quick controls will be much appreciated.

This is a feature that I also really like to use sometimes. )
However, it is only available to users of the better equipped SQ-6 and 7.
Check out the reference guide V1.5.0 issue 6, PG 74.
