    Hello,

I’m currently using an ilive t112 and idr48.

And a QU-16. We are looking into the me1 system is it possible to use a standard Cisco Poe switch 300 series instead of the mu-1.

We currently tour with an 18 piece band and are using a mymix system, but it will not work with the QU-16.

I was thinking of keeping the current POE switch.

Or, can I use one mu1 and my current switch to power the 18 me-1?

    Any help appreciated

    Hi,

You can find several threads on this forum on the topic. Also read the article at https://support.allen-heath.com/hc/en-gb/articles/4403292650641-ME-Compatibility-with-third-party-switch particularly regarding Layer 3 functions and power requirements. So in short, if your switch total power budget is enough to power all units, and you can configure it correctly, this should work.
