So am I correct in my understanding of how the ME-1 works, in terms of output:
The ME-1 can get audio data from the AB168 Expander port and then feed the local outputs on that particular ME-1 (headphone and mono 1/4″)?
There is no way to have the ME-1 control what is fed to any of the mix outputs (i.e. floor wedges)?
Thanks in advance for any clarification.

You are correct – it will not control an output from the desk or AR box.

You can of course, use that mono output to drive a wedge; particularly easy if you have powdered wedges.

Thanks, I was thinking that might be a good option for picky lead vocalists.
Just have to lock out the Ambient mic….

I am generally opposed to giving musicians control over wedges.

If they is what they want, and you are happy giving it to them then the QuYou app is a good option. Of course if have a spare headphone amp (for example an old small mixing desk) then they could try in ears very cheaply…

Oops – “powdered wedges”. Hmmmm. I guess the mix is too dry. I’ll add some reverb……… Sorry!

Got my ME1 this week, been playing around with it.
    Cool little box.
