main LR to multitrack recording in Logic

Hey Everybody,

quick question: can anyone help me out with the following.
So far I can multitrack everything without any problems at all on my SQ5 through tie lines.
What I would like is to record the main LR as well as a reference track later so I can compare how well I did live…

One way or another I can’t seem to patch the main LR into my logic.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Hi Staf,

go to the I/O page, click on output on the left side (where is also inputs and tie lines), then hit Mix Out.
On the left downward row you´ll now see all your mixes inside you SQ.
Now you have to choose your output (where the recording is going to). You can do so above the patching matrix. There you have local, Slink, ME, USB and I/O port.
Click on USB if you want to record to USB and on I/O port if you are recording through the dante/waves card.
And now you only have patch to the desired output (for example USB channel 31/32).
In logic you can now set a stereo channel to receive on input 31/32.
