    after the CQ formats the USB stick, Mac OS isn’t able to mount it.
    I refuse to believe that using a Windows machine is the only way to do firmware updates. 🙂
    Any Ideas?

    I’ve got the CQ-20 running 1.1.0. The 64GB USB drive, that it formatted, opens fine on my Mac OS Ventura 13.5.2. I can copy files and firmware to it (from the Mac) that are visible on the CQ.

    @scottypinthemix

    What is the drive manufacturer, model and size?
    I have seen a drive before that would only format to FAT16 (not FAT32) and was under 2GB, so although the mixer thought it was formatted correctly, it could not be seen in a mac as you say here.
    It was a very old drive though!

    Thanks,
    Keith.

    Same here. I guess I should try a larger drive. The smaller won’t mount, gives an error. The shows as fat16 in system properties.

    Good call Keith!

    Looks like I just got unlucky when I reached into the box of USB drives and grabbed a small capacity/older one.
    Thanks.

    Great news for me, the Sandisk compact USB3 drives that didn’t work in my QU work perfectly in the CQ😃
