+1. And switchable as opposed to turn it up. I didn’t even know I could do that until I read this.

Is a LPF possible on the SQ mixers?, Without having to rework a lot of things like you mentioned with a HPF on the mix outs. It would be nice to know if it’s not too much of a hassle.
PS,im not ungrateful for the improvements so-far .
    THANKS

I somehow get the feeling that a LPF/ HighCut is not as easy to implement as we might think…I once asked for a simple clock and Keith eplained why that is not only not simple but indeed impossible…
It would be nice to get a feedback from A&H mothership on which requests are simple but not priority and vice versa…

Low pass/hi pass both seem equally like musts…

We’ve been begging for both for years.

They obviously aren’t interested. Keep doing other things less important.

    I laugh about this!
All the clarity in the world after many years of analouge
and well… how many of you would give up the high shelf for a Low Pass filter?

I forget where I saw it, but someone from Allen & Heath gave an explanation.

Please correct me if I’m wrong on anything here, I’m going completely off memory from reading a post somewhere online a while back.

With that said, it was something along these lines:

The reason the SQ series sounds the way they do is the way the audio path was designed in it’s software. And because a great deal of attention was put into that, it isn’t as easy as people think to just toss a LPF in the chain without disrupting everything else going on. They do in fact plan on adding it, but it will take some time to properly implement.
