Hello, I have a CQ20B, and I am looking for a way to change two volume values of a channel via midi.
In my band, I do backing vocals and also sing lead vocals on some songs, then I would need to be able to switch between two volumes for my mic channel via MIDI with my guitar pedal board. Is it possible to assign each volume to a configurable key and activate them via MIDI, or something like that?
    Thank you

There are many ways to get to Rome and i think, you will get some other solutions here.
But perhaps as an alternative to MIDI and perhaps much simpler, using a (double) footswitch would be interesting for you.
For example, you could save your volumes in 2 different scenes and select them with the 2 foot keys.
(However, CQ does not yet have the option of just changing the fader positions using a filter; you would actually have to switch between 2 complete scenes.)
Or, if you don’t use a compressor yourself, you could switch a 1:1 compressor on and off in this channel, with which you can achieve a level difference of up to 18dB.

    Or in addition:
You definitely want to use a compressor for lead vocals, but you could do without it for backing vocals.
Then use the footswitch to turn it off for backing vocals and on for lead vocals, with the appropriate increase in compressor gain for the higher level.

    Oh – sorry!
I just see that the compressor can only be operated via the soft keys, but not via the footswitch. (
