Hi, i’ve been using a qu-16 for a couple of months, it is my first digital board and i am loving it. Really happy i went with a QU mixer. I have set up my QU-16 and Macbook for DAW control, following all of the very basic AH documentation on this. Set the custom layer to all MIDI, and set up logic for Mackie control. I can get some faders to respond in Logic and Vice Versa, however, there doesn’t seam to be much rhyme or reason to which fader controls what specific track. How is this assigned?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
What did you find out if anything? I’m considering Logic as this board and PreSonus Studio One Pro doesn’t seem to play very well.
There are other threads discussing integration with Logic. As long as you follow the instructions in the DAW Control Setup Notes (also available as a video here) you shouldn’t have any problem.
