It would be nice to have the listen bus fader be assignable to a channel strip. I am using an SQ5 (so no soft rotaries to assign) and I have a pair of monitors for the operator to listen to. I have had to use a Matrix for the monitor that combines the main output and an aux mix that I can use to listen to a single channel or group of channels. It would be really useful instead to have the listen bus be assignable to a fader strip.
    Thanks,
    Zach

Sorry if I misunderstood, but couldn’t you just change the mixer role to “Listen Level”?
Instead of a channel strip the listen level is on the main fader, but at least it’s on a fader.
If you still need LR on a fader you can assign it to a channel strip.

Yes, that is a perfectly fine way to work around. But the master fader is a bit different and is dynamic based on the selected mix.

Best to leave it in mix master mode and assign listen level to a strip.
