So I obtained a couple of working T112 Surfaces that a church was getting rid of. They did not come with any iDR system as they were using other surfaces with those. With all of the research I have done thus far, it seems like an iDR system of some sort is required for operation as the Surface is just a controller.
I do not intend to use these for mixing audio. I don’t need any sort of stagebox. My idea is to use this as “wall art” in my studio. The units do power on and boot until it cannot find the MixRack.
So my question… Is there a way to just “light the surface up”? I’m looking for an inexpensive way to just make it look cool, lit up on the wall. Like a diagnostic or surface demo mode? Or if someone knows of a cheap idea / bypass / you know.
