Level Meter Markers

Having used several ME-1s o er the years and owning two at my venue.
One of the things that has always bugged me is the lack of metering numbers on the level meters?
There’s a line, (that im assuming is unity) but no other marking to show if its logarithmic, linear etc…
It would be super handy, as sometimes youwould like to adjust something, when that source isnt making sound.
I could simply lower it xxdB and know(by looking at it visually) where its going to sit in the mix.

Could this be something implemented?
