Do you get audio through the mixer using a microphone with the XLR input jacks?

Are you wanting to record from the mixer to the iMac or wanting to play audio tracks from the iMac back into the mixer or just a two track stereo playback from the iMac to the mixer.

If recording what are the direct out channel settings, what patching is set up on the USB
output routing in the set up menu I/O setting.

    Hi Shad,

Sorry to hear you’re having some trouble with your new Qu-32.
The first thing to check if you’re trying to play back audio over USB-B is to ensure you have the USB inputs set to USB-B (rather than Qu-Drive) and that you also have the channel you are sending to from the computer set to use it’s USB input. (details on how to do this are in the reference guide here – https://www.allen-heath.com/media/Qu-Mixer-Reference-Guide-AP9372_10.pdf#page=78&zoom=auto,-274,799)
If that doesn’t solve it, please either contact us directly using support.allen-heath.com to submit a support ticket, or contact your local distributor who will be able to run through some troubleshooting over the phone.
(You can see the full list of distributors here – https://www.allen-heath.com/where-to-buy/ )

    Thanks,
    Keith.

    Another ting:
Have you allowed audio to use the USB in the IMacs “Security” settings ?
(not by our macs right now, and not sure what the English name is for the “security center” )
