IP8 connection over wifi??

Any idea if an IP8 will function properly or “timely” enough over a Client to Access Point wifi connection?? Assuming connection speed would typically be 150-300 Mbps.

Basically replacing an Ethernet cable with a point to point wireless connection.

Just want to make sure before jumping into it…
