IP8 and Director

    Howdy

    In a setup, where I only use the mixrack (CDM32) and a PC with Director Software: do I have to connect the IP8 directly to the mixrack or is a network connection to the IP8->PC also working?

    I want to avoid to put out two CAT cables (gigaACE and IP8).

    same network for both
    it has to be in the control network of the system with correct IP4 adress, thats it
