I currently have an ILive system. I am considering changing out for an Avantis. I have been thinking of ways of not buying a lot of new hardware and noticed that by using the M-DL-ADAPT and an MACE card, the Avantis “can interface with an Ilive system”. Havent been able to find many specifics past that. Does it give me access to all of my existing IDR channels? What happens to the Ilive processing that is done in the IDR rack as I am to understand that the Avantis does its own unlike the ILive and Dlive. This seems like a perfect solution if it does what I need it to do which is to allow me to use my IDR’s and XDR’s as boxes and still be able to control head amps etc.
