Hi, while configuring Dante (purely for audio recording using Pro Tools on a Mac Book Pro) I ran into the issue that even though I configured 64×64 Pro Tools only receives 32 input channels.
    Any ideas?

    thanks in advance, Jan

    Hi Jan,

In Dante Virtual Soundcard you can set the channel count for the virtual Soundcard (8×8, 16×16, 32×32 or 64×64).
you can then route the input channels on your Ilive to the Dante card.
Route the channels from the Dante card to your Macbook (Dante Controller) (And back if you want to record).
Set Dante clock of the Dante card to Clock master and Slave to internal.

Now all channels should be available in your DAW thru if you select DVS in your audio source.

Don’t forget to configure the Dante card thru “Dante Controller” for the actual signal routing. ie what channel are allowed to be available to what devices on the network, and what direction the channels are allowed to travel.
