    Greetings.

    I am trying to get our GL2400 MTX 1 to come out in stereo. I know it should be simple, but I have been trying for more than 3 hours. Anyone has any idea? I apologize if this is the wrong spot to put this type of question on here. Thanks.

    Hi José,
    there is no section for analog mixers here in this forum. So no idea where these sort of questions are intended to be posted at 🤷‍♂️

    To help you with your question, there is more information needed, then just a simple “I want to send stereo and it doesn’t work. Have tried for hours”.

    – what kind of input you want to send in stereo?
    – how is that input/inputs plugged to the console?
    – how is that channel/channels routed to outputs?
    – what is connected to outputs?

    Matrix is mono only on the GL2400
    you have to use two

    As Stephen pointed out, the GL2400’s matrixes are mono, and cannot be changed. There are 4 mono matrixes on the GL2400, so you would use 2 of them to get a stereo output, one for the left channel, and another for the right.

    Ok, thanks everyone. Now I understand. It’s interesting, but the documentation says that by setting the L and R to a certain positions, it can deliver stereo sound. See attached. So, is that wrong?

    or use two matrix outputs with L fed to one, R to the other to create an independent stereo main output.

    @jic

    to get stereo you have to use two matrices
    rotate one to full L and the other to full R
    if you dont you will get two copies of monos that will end up sounding mono

    Thank you, guys. I did opened a ticket with A&H, and you guys are correct. The documentation seems a bit confusing as it seems that you can do it just with one. Thanks.
