Gain level on meter bridge

Dear all,

may be a silly question.

How can I have the correct PAFL gain level in the meter bridge even if I have adjusted the PAFL trim less than 0db.
I use the PAFL trim to adjust the volume between PAFL Mix and PAFL single channels. Mostly to PAFL single channels results in higher volume in the headphone than the entire Mix.
But when I do so, I don’t have the “correct” gain in the meter bridge.

On the screen the gain level is correct and usable…..but somehow it feels like I’m doing something wrong 🙂

Where is my mistake? What have I understand wrong?
