An additional FX rack preset that would allow external outboard FX units to be patched to utilise the stereo FX return buses instead of having to bring them back in on valuable input channels.
This could be added to the ‘Empty slot’ preset but it would be better as its own preset to make it obvious that the FX slot/bus return is in use. It may also be useful to add output & input trim within the FX parameter view window, to compensate for differing signal levels of various outboard equipment.
Time alignment wouldn’t be a massive issue for me as this would be mainly used for time based FXs.
