    Hello,

    I wonder about:

    1) is the FX processor Stereo In -> Stereo Out (or Mono In -> Steareo Out)
    2) Is the FX bus stereo (if I route a linked channel to it, does it stay stereo or is it summed to mono before hitting the FX)?

    Thanks

    Hello again,

The reason I ask is that I want to run my synthesizers (which have already delay/chorus applied) through the qu internal reverb, and I would like to know if a stereo signal is summed to mono before going to the qu internal FX.

    Thanks

    Hi Bastian,

The dedicated FX sends are mono. You could assign a stereo Mix to the FX (or insert on a stereo channel) but most of our FX models (reverbs included) will sum to mono at the FX input stage anyway, and create a stereo output based on the algorithm. This is common practice in most industry standard reverb units – acoustical room reverberation does not follow PANs :), although some true stereo reverbs exist (mostly DAW based plugins I believe).

    Hope this helps.
