Could someone tell me if it is important to upgrade firmware from v1.94 to v2.01 in sequential order with the previous versions, or can I just update from v1.94 to v2.01? Thank you for your time.
@MixDizzle You can roll back safely but the fan on the RackUltra FX card is not controlled in V1.9A or lower firmware and would likely run at full speed. You should also make sure to backup your Show files and reset the MixRack (jumper 1 reset at power up) and Surface after rolling back, to avoid any data corruption.
I did pull the card per Bangs instructions before rolling back. I had the show files all backed up to start with. I was having the output bus issues after updating and needed to be functional for rehearsals and the weekend. Support is working with me on a fix. Thanks for the input.
