Does anyone know if there is a dimmer control for the external lamp socket? Some gooseneck LEDs switch to a red LED when dimmed. Curious if I can use this feature on the GLD.

I had this same issue. I wanted a Littlite because I know of their durability and warranty. Littlite had one that would plug into any XLR port, and it got its power from an external PSU. Unfortunately, it was only a straight connector and not at a right angle. So I contacted Littlite and asked if they could make it with a right angle. Within a few hours, I got a response and they created the light for me:

I am currently using that on my GLD and it plugs right into the current port for the light. The dimmer will sit behind the console and you will need a spare plug for power to the light.

A&H gooseneck lamps have a built in dimmer.
