We have the same problem on the SQ consoles.
It is incomprehensible that (as a freelancer) you cannot use your own purchased add-ons on the desk you are currently working on (or have to work on).
SQ rental companies in particular avoid buying add-ons because not everyone needs them – it will be no different with Avantis.
You can purchase the license for add-ons and activate them on a console using a code.
In 2024, it should not be a problem for a technical company like A&H to be able to lock its add-ons on this console using another code again in order to then unlock them on another console.
This would also ensure that an add-on can only be used on one device at a time.
It would be important for the user to only have the tools they have purchased available on the desk they are currently using.
It is useless to have them on a desk that they cannot use at the moment.
I know technicians who don’t have their own console, but would buy add-ons to use on consoles they work on.
