That post from 2 years ago so it was pretty buried. Good to know I’m not the only one looking for this feature. Strange that it’s been 2+ years since it was originally requested and it’s still not implemented.

why is that strange?

they cant do everything somebody asks for.
they will prioritize every request based on time/cost to do it versus increased sales

clearly this one does not have the traction nor benefits needed to make it happen yet

Wasn’t a bash on the people working on it. Just seems like a small/simple add.

just explaining how the suits think

the tekkies could do it easy if they were told to do it
and they may well be doing it in the next generation of devices.

and what seems small could impact other things a lot depending how they previously designed the device.

We just did a livestream festival show and for dialing in ambient miks it would be perfect using an expander!
If you‘re asking me – a gate with adjustable ratio would do it as well!

I know it is not ideal, but you could use the Dyn8 as a sort of multiband expander. You have 64 Dyn8s, so you can probably spare a few for expander duty.
