Hi everyone….we use the ME monitors boxes and I’m trying to figure out if it is possible to send a signal to the monitors that is eq’d different from the FOH eq. Tie lines could accomplish sending an unprocessed signal, but that doesn’t help. So for example, a drummer can have his drums eq’d in the way that sounds better in the ears, but may not work in the mix. Thanks for any help.

    Hi Kevin,

The SQ has 48 input processing channels, applying EQ to a source must use one of these channels, but you can assign a single source to multiple channels.
So if you need to EQ a single channel differently for different outputs, just assign the same source to two (or more) input channels and you’ll see that only the socket settings (48v, Pad, Gain) are shared.
You could also use mix processing (eg. by bussing drums to a group), or a combination of both.

    Hope this helps!
    Keith.
