DX hub vs DX ports on mixrack?

    Is there a specific hardware related reason as to why the 4 DX ports on the dm mixrack only work as DX1 pri DX2 sec DX3 Pri DX4 sec and not as four separate DX lines where as the DX hub operates as four DX lines separately so can run 4 DX lines out to 8 boxes in cascade mode?
    Would be so useful if the mixrack sos DX ports worked the same as the DX hub!

    Thoughts??
