    I just got the CQ20B – when in a saved scene, if you make some changes and then power off, do the temporary changes persist when it’s powered up again? It’s in my drummer’s house right now so I can’t check it – thanks!

    @DaveNJ

    You’re never ‘in’ a saved Scene.
    There is only one current state of the mixer, and any changes made (adjust levels and EQ etc…) affect only the current state.
    This current state is automatically and constantly stored so that the mixer powers on in the same state it was in when you powered it off.
    When you store a Scene, you’re storing a copy of the current state of the mixer.
    When you recall a Scene, you’re replacing the current state of the mixer with the data in the stored Scene.

    So yes, the changes you make will persist when you power up the CQ again, but note that those changes will not be stored to that stored Scene unless you overwrite it in the HOME / Scenes screen..

    Thanks,
    Keith.

    On another A&H mixer (dLive or Avantis?) someone did an experiment and determined that the current state gets saved periodically, something around every 30 seconds. So in the event of an unexpected power loss, there might be some data loss, but not very much.
