For my church streaming mix, I need to balance out the music with the speaking levels. We have audience microphones with a 28.0ms time delay.
First, I used a generic matrix with with mains and the speaker mic assigned to it. However, adding the delay to the main mix also delays it to the main speakers. Not good. I changed my tactic and setup an an auxiallary output with two input channels from Main L and Main R, along with speaker mic. I then use the matrix and set the appropriate time delay with the audience microphones.
My question is this, if I’m using input from an already summed output with an existing input, will I have phase issues?
