Is there a way to send midi notes from a DLive surface to a Tascam TA-1VP? The Tascam unit has 5-pin midi ports, and from what I understand, the DLive system uses TCP? Right now I’m using a Digico console at FOH, and using the midi output of the desk to change presets on the Tascam via snapshots. Is there a way to replicate the same process on a DLive surface?

Use Bomebox to translate from Ethernet to Midi. It supports dLive.

By the way, has anything changed in couple of latest FW regarding MIDI?
I’ve tested my show with Bome box, that worked year ago, but desk can’t seem to get programm change messages. Bome box sees the desk, has both routes active, I even upgraded FW in it, but no luck.
    Maybe I’m missing something obvious?

Never mind- after the reboot of Bome box it just worked.
